GRYP: The Place For Greater Reading’s Young Professionals!

The Greater Reading Young Professionals (GRYP) is an organization devoted to a strongly untapped demographic in Berks County: The Greater Reading Young Professionals. The group is supported by the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and is comprised primarily of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 45 in the Greater Reading area (though we would never turn anyone away). GRYP provides a wide range of benefits that can last a lifetime. We have monthly networking events and educational sessions, and as a member you also have the opportunity to serve on various committees within the organization.

History of GRYP

The former Manufacturers Association of Berks County (now the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry) founded the Young Professionals Network (YPN) Berks in February 2003 with the Stay Invent PA Grant. The purpose of the group is to help young professionals develop business networks and leadership skills. In October 2006, YPN Berks changed its name to The Greater Reading Young Professionals.
